How the demo works: |
9,6 megs - 9 mins - 31 effects : MEGADEMO 2000
Optima on the keys.
This megademo is the result of 8 months of coding. The codes were not done
exclusively for a production, but more for learning purposes - there are so
many interesting algos/theories out there. What would be more appropriate
to do with all these stand-alone parts, but to do a megademo? Most
Amiga-productions these days are some kind of pseudo-modern-collage-design-
let's-hide-the-fact-that-we-have-done-no-new-code-since-1996-shit. This demo
is pure. Nice gfx+music+effects - and loads of it! The design is
stylish - and not there for the sake of noting but the design itself.
I know that many will argue that this is not design. Fine, then my mission
is accomplished. Megademos ARE ALLOWED TO BE versatile and it has been a
great pleasure for me to produce a demo in this spirit.
A big thanks to the Haujobb family for the superb support. You made it
possible - getting ready for TP, that is
There is a bug in the system. I can't figure it out at this point. Don't
expect a fixed version - however, you never know if a fixed, less
RAM-consuming version will be released. Do you wanna know more:

Produced on A4000/Cyberstorm mk I 68060/50/2+32 - feel free to run it on
other configs but this is for 060/50 - really. No efforts are made to make
it run smoother on less.
I really thought that I would experience sleep the night before a party this
time - how naive of me. |
